The "auto-sticking to roads" has gone haywire

I've been playing fine for months with this installation and this has never happened

Whenever you have a ploppable object next to a road it will automatically face that road, but if you use the page keys you can rotate it fine, right? Well with mine it simply won't let me rotate the objects without snapping back to the roads. That means I can only place ploppable lots in the direction of the road, which is annoying. Anyone ever had this problem?

You can't move the mouse if you are rotating something next to a road. If you do it will snap back to the road, so keep it very very still.

Even with the cursor completely still it'll still snap back, that's the problem
