Help- Problem finding and downloading gmax

Hi, A week ago i decided to start making simple BATs for my region in SC4. So I read somewhere ( don't if it was Simtropolis or this site) that i needed to download gmax so that SC4 BAT could actually work. I went to SC4's official site and under the "cool stuff" there was a link: http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/

First of all, it wasn't the site mentioned above. It is called:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=5659302&siteID=123112#
If you click the link above you can see that there's no gmax download link. It's this autodesk 3ds max.

Should i download it? Or should i search for another site?
