Base Texture disappears when switching tabs in LE

I created a texture in sc4tool and want to use it as base texture for a LOT. But every time after placing it in  the LE (Base Texture --> Add item) it disappears when I change to another tab or click the save button. The LE then (of course) tells me that each LOT needs a texture on its tiles and i cannot save. This appears randomly, not every time I change the texture (I'm on my first tries in creating textures and a LOT so I repeatedly change the texture in order to see how it fits to the LOT interms of scale).
If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It's much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.

It's possible you're not actually clicking on the lot to place the texture.  I've had this problem before as well.  If you hover your mouse over the lot, the texture you've selected appears, but it's not actually there until you click.  I hope this helps.

You're right. I needed to click on the LOT AFTER selecting the texture --> that way it worked! Thanks!
