Why don`t you sell the dvd in game-shops

i know about twenty in munich

if you sell it in over 60.000 cities per 10 € and in every city 10 people buy it a month

you have 6 million € per month!

but you also have to pay the print of 6 million dvd`s (it`s at 0,50 or 0,30 cent per dvd)

i wonder often why u don`t sell the downloads at 0,10€ per one

my uncle would pay for it too ( he told me that there are downloads for sim city so i started playing again )

we often discuss about simcity

i know some few more people who are interested

has it to do with copyrights? from ea or something

just an idea

The DVD and CD like the content cannot be sold as that would be contrary to the Maxi EULA. We can, however, offer the DVD and CD as a gift for donations.

He'd be right.....the Simcity concept is outdated.  It's only Maxis' foresight in allowing us to modify and add content (for free) that has kept it alive.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it
