Lot's not showing ingame/LE and not able to open in editor

last days i have editd 170 lots, mostly changing ground textures. It are plopable lots i changed. today i moved them to my game pc (orginel files on laptop where editing took place deleted). and only 52 of the 170 lots are now showing up ingame and in the LE.

I tested on normal conditions
I tested with all other plugins removed.
i tested with and without the orginal lots there.

Then i looked further in to it and i can not seem to open te edited lots that are not working in Ilives reader or SC4 tool. But i can open the edited lots that are working ingame and in LE.

I looked into the file sizes and they are not much different in to the orginal lots and the not edited lots.

Furthermore i tried to edit a not working lot again from the orginal lot and saved it, and now it appears to be working...

What could be wrong here. why are 120/170 lots not working :s i have put may hours (days) of work in editing them :s. And how can i fix this and prefent it from happening again?


could it be because of the moving of the files (normally not as far as i know).

what lots did you edit? and did you use the save as function to save your edited lots?

i've edit different kind of lots, mostly functional commerical offices plopable from the LM menu, but also non functional LM lots. also from different creators and series. and some of te lots from the creator are working and some not.. very strange, the nog working lots seem to be random.

And i used the Save As button.

could you email (you can find it in my profile) me (some of) the lots to see if I have the same problem

I'm pretty sure, that you need to replace the old lots...
