Functional Airports - which one to choose?

Hi there,

it looks like the time has come that I need to proceed into building an airport (for whatever reason there might be, my sims go crazy about having one .. :P). So, since I'm deep into custom content meanwhile, after downloading PEG's functional seaport it's clear that I don't just want to plop the standard maxis airport but dig into the field of functional custom airports.

Which leads to the one and only question: Which functional airport should I choose? AFAIK, there are some different versions out there: AC funcional airport, RMIP, ...

Appreciate to share your experience and get some hints in which direction to move!
If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It's much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.

RMIP isn't a functional airport. Its is a system for building eye candy runways, taxiways etc. You should definitely download AC functional airports. It is really the main functional airport package, except SimWings Airport Pack (SWAP) which ironically has been swapped for the AC ones, as it is quite outdated. I am not aware of any others that are available.

Good Luck!
