I like what you did with this zoo. It changes what we can see normally.

It is very realistic  &apls

2010.8.14 - I can get on the Internet at home.:)

Battlecat

Fantastic idea!  I've seen shots from zoos like this but I've never actually been to one.  You've captured the concept perfectly, I really like the custom lots you've put together!

Earth quake

beautiful update.
Your zoo is really splendid and very realistic.
I really like the 2nd pictures.

djvandrake

A great idea and your landscape details are top notch.

I love the Lion on top of the car!  :D

ecoba

Ah! Good to see you back, my friend!

I was thinking the giraffes got ya!

But seriously, Dave, that was awesome. Your lotting skills as well as your extensive use of the RRP Flora really enhance the pictures, and you make it well known you only accept the best.

Thank You for working so hard and cheering me up on this cold, fall day. (Okay so it's your spring, but....)

Ethan

Yan077

Really good idea that zoo  &apls
And a fantastic work, it looks very realistic with a lot of details !!!
I can't wait to see more !

Hi guys, just a quick note to let you know that the next zoo update is progressing well and will get
here sooner or later  ::) Thanks for all who have posted and replies will follow with the next update.

Today we had tradesman at the house so I thought I'd make myself scarce and decided to take a
trip to the zoo. This is a city zoo and not an open plain zoo like I'm working on. Regardless it's a great
place and I've attached a couple of pic's you might enjoy.

Or a Spa

And 1 for Nate (xxdita). I hope you share better ;D

Anyway, just thought I'd share those with you. Update soon

Cheers

Wow, Dave, those are some very nice pictures from your zoo. Is that the Sydney zoo?

Those are some excellent pictures of the animals, and the background skyline is quite amazing.

Don't worry about the update, take your time, because when it does get here it'll be even better.

Ethan

Jmouse

Nice shots of the zoo and Sydney's stunning skyline. Hope you'll throw in a few more RL pics from time to time. And just think, it would give you more opportunities to include some extra population and traffic data. :)

Later...
Joan

djvandrake

Wow! What a view they have.  ;D  Great pics Dave and thanks for sharing them.  :)

Tomas Neto

I adore to see pictures of giraffes!!!!
Fantastic, very nice, my friend!!!  &apls

adroman

I haven't been to Taronga in a few years, maybe I'll make a trip soon...

Can't wait for the update,
Adrian.

it worth it though with such great comments.

The RL Zoo Pics (ecoba, Jmouse, djvandrake, Tomas Neto & adroman):
I'm glad you enjoyed the pics of Sydneys Taronga Park Zoo. First time I've posted
RL pics and I might include a few more going forward. Adrian, hold off your visit
for a while, the zoo is doing some major renovations that will make it even better
in 12mths or so.

Colton Plains Zoo & Safari Park

Well it's taken a while but I've finally finished the zoo. Thanks for your patience :)  From the
following regional pic you can see that I haven't touched outside the zoo walls at this stage, and I
think it gives you an idea of how big it is compared to the quads completed to date.
6.01

So an overview pic to start off with.
6.02

The main entrance, carpark and souvenir/foodcourt area
6.03

Maintenance Depot
6.04

Some more elephants

a 12 gauge.

The Lake and Wetland Bird Breeding Area
6.08

Don't count on privacy though, if you're a bird that is  :) Perv Watch towers have been set
up around the lake for those keen birdwatchers.
6.10

Around the far side of the lake you'll find the second foodcourt:
6.11

Within easy walking distance and for those lucky few, the campground .
Spend a night at the zoo and enjoy a nightime tour. Tickets are limited.
6.12

Did I mention we had bears.
6.13

6.14

6.15

And Llamas, or are they Alpacas or maybe the fabled pushmepullyou ()what()
6.16

6.17

A joint viewing area. The right side is occupied by Rhinos and the left
by bull Elephants and Rhinos.
6.18

The main Rhino enclosure. Occupied by females and their young ones. (oops, I'll fix that
toolbar shortly  &ops)
6.19

And the bull enclosure. Getting fit for their next physical encounter  ;)
6.20

6.21

Well I hope you enjoyed this update. As much fun as it
was putting the zoo together, I'll be happy getting back to some normal town building.

Let me know what you think, good or bad.

Cheers

Dave.

joelyboy911
