How can you tell what stage buildings are growing?

hello all - sorry if this is a dumb question - i've looked around but haven't found an answer so i thought i'd post it here.

how do you know what stage buildings are growing?  i typically like to zone for the downloaed buildings that i want to grow, so i need to know what stage i'm on so i'll know what to zone.  thanks for any responses.  DeeCee

You cannot zone for stages... only low/medium/high densities.
All growth stages, up to the highest one currently available, will grow at the same time (with different percentages, depending on the size of your region).

Generally, R and C buildings of stage 7 or higher and industrial buildings of stage 6 or higher only grow on high density zones.
