Hello guys.

If it's possible, I want a program that save pictures direct from SC4 in formart .jpeg, and no .png. I really want this program, if it's possible.

Thanks..

Jonathan

press the print screen button on your keyboard (labelled PrtScn).

Then open paint and click paste (or  press Ctrl-V) and the just go file save, and select jpeg.

hum.. I know this.. but I thought there is a program that save direct from SC4 (in this case, I don't need to use any other program) to save in jpeg..

But if there isn't this program, I thank.

Hello ruste200,

If you have the Microsoft Windows Paint program, open your picture in the program, re-size to the forum limits (1024 pixels by 768 pixels), and click "save as". There should be an option to save as another format; just choose "jpeg" and save.

There is also another program called "The Gimp", which does more advanced picture editing. You can download it here. Make sure to download the GTK+2 Runtime program first, found here.

Also be aware that Paint (in my experience) does a horrible job of converting to jpeg and you end up with a pretty poor quality image.  Jonathan's method certainly works, but I generally save the pasted image as a png and then open it in a different program to convert to jpg.
