The filling degree was unfortunately set too low for the one that was uploaded.
Please wait for SimGoober to finish eating his turkey so that he can fix it and reupload it... :)

Ummm for us not so smart people what is a filling degree ?

xxdita

The filling degree is a variable used in PIMX, based on the building model's size vs the size of the box it's rendered in (LOD). This is what determines the other stats (number of jobs, power & water usage, garbage produced, etc) in PIMX. Set improperly, a building's stats and usefulness would be askewed, as well as the Growth Stage for any lots using the building.

Andreas

Not so smart people should read Barby's excellent SC4PIM guide in search of answers to their questions.

I have "fixed" the filling degre, and reuploaded an updated version. Should be available soon. Didn't actually change it much, but re-installing it will update the growable lots.

I think he's hinting on what he wants for Christmas.

I want to just be clear about the stats for this building...is it suppose to have 36k CS$ jobs and forgot whatever high number of CS$ jobs right? I had downloaded it yesterday but was a bit shocked at the high number of jobs totaling more then 40k jobs.

xxdita

Considering it is a rather larger building, on a 10x6 lot, the number of jobs is quite appropriate. But it starts with the amount of the highest wealth jobs, then goes to the number listed for the lower ones.

That is only applicable if it downgrades from CS$$$ or CS$$.
The CS$$$ version has 3,828 jobs and the CS$$ version has 9,566 jobs.
Both those are actually lower than what is found in the real life counterpart, some 10,000.

SimNation

Ahh...thanks for clearing that up Ripplejet. Thought it had that high number without any drop from CS$$. Building is massive (and looks good in a downtown area) so thought those were its actual stats which I was picking my brain on how I could get that strong of a Low wealth service demand. Hope you make more monsters like this lastest one Goober.

Hey SG are you taking requests?

I got some local W2W I would love to have in-game and was wondering if you could build it?

I'll PM you the pics if interested.

I am having trouble with the reward Ritz-Carlton Hotel building. It doesn't show up in the reward menu when I earn it, also when I click the link in the announcment text all I get is a red arrow.

xxdita

The file has been updated on the LEX. Anyone that has the LEX DVD should also download the update.

imperialmog

The Ritz-Carlton Reward is now working with the update. Thanks there. I am going to have to look at some other rewards to make sure they are functioning properly since I think there are a couple that have issues.
