Hey guys. I recently downloaded Open Office to make newspapers for my MD and I'm curious how I upload them here. I can't seem to find a site that uploads those types of files.

Hi

Not sure if this is the easiest way, but I'd use Screenhunter 5.1 or clip2pic (or something similar) to take a screenshot then upload the result as if it was a pic. I know Screenhunter can be downloaded for free and I'm sure clip2pic can as well.

(PS: if you want to know how they appear have a look at the MD stats. These are in an Excel spreadsheet that I prepare than use Screenhunter to capture a screenshot which is then uploaded through Imageshack.)

Hey thanks! I just have a question, how do you capture something if part of it isn't on screen (as in, it needs to be scrolled down to see it)

Haven't worked that out yet  $%Grinno$%

Screenhunter allows you to be very precise and you can cut things up into smaller pieces. The stats I mentioned are one spreadsheet but I have split it into 4 for upload. It's difficult to see the seam, if at all.

You could also export your newspapers as PDF file, and put them in a ZIP file that can be attached to your posting. As a teaser, you could post a screenshot of your first page (or one article).
