scott1964, very interesting.
I'm not sure if your pictures are the progress of your work or not.  Either way I would like to suggest that you try to fill every space to better complete the area.  Also the mazis power lines are a definate eye sore for me.  You can these High Tension poles by fukuda.  Last but not the least is a trick you can use if yuo don't want the power lines but don't mind a sidewalk.  That's right power travels along sidewalks too.  If you zone anything, res. com. or indust.  one tile deep and drag the crusor over the transit network while pressing down the Ctrl key and than let go you will get no zone appearing and the transit network should now have a sidewalk and the power can travel along this at any length.
