That's a very nice set of canals there!  Great details all around it, I quite like the trails as well.

I'm not sure that retaining wall fits behind the farm, I think the farmer would save money by using trees to stabilize that slope.  Still, that farming area looks pretty good as well!

Next up Hartford

A little History.  :D
Lumbermen schooled in logging and saw milling in the New England states began to travel East in hopes to establish a commercial enterprise.
Commercial lumbering began in Hartford in 1842. A group of New England businessmen headed by Harry Oldenberg and Lancaster Hartford
started a sawmill in a forest filled with various trees.

Fast forward to the present.  Turnerville :)

More to come.  ;D

Good point, I didn't realize there was going to be heavy industrial behind the lot.  A solid retaining wall makes a lot more sense in that case.

Nice job on these last few updates.  These logging scenes look very nice!

Playing around with some transportation ideas for Hartford CBD.  :-\ &idea

Does it look ok, out of place, or just wrong?  &mmm

bob56

It looks okay, however it would be much cheaper to build a rail overpass or just use a road underpass. Also the piece appears to be wrong, I see roads going into the tunnel wall.

Love the canal bridge though.

If you can, make an underground rail line under the road nearby. If you need stations, any station next to Underground works.
