A very dense urban environment, and it is very well done. There is enough diversity in low and high rises to make it look quite like the real thing. And to me it seems like the simulator has been very kind to you, I would say that you have a great selection of different buildings growing.

nedalezz

You are very talented at creating realistic and lifelike CBDs, some of the best I have seen yet. And you seem to be at your best when there is waterfront development involved. Great update!

ecoba

Really beautiful update, Ioan. The CBD has such a variety of buildings, and the brightness of the picture is really nice. You also have created a very nice transition from High-Rise, to Mid-Rise, etc. Pirgos really is a lovely city.

Sorry for not posting so much here, Ioan &mmm, however I've followed this MD very closely
Definitively a fantastic month in the OSITM-category &apls &apls
Apart from the fantastic looking CBD, I will always admire one thing: the complexity of your transport system:
Roads under bridges, smooth curves, GLR etc.

Keep up the good work,
Fabian :)

Just wonderful mosaics!  I really can't say enough about your downtown area.  Some of my favorite buildings and I really like the bridges and waterfronts.

A great month in OSITM and I really enjoyed your updates.  ;D

ecoba

Some beautiful mosaics of Pirgos that you've showed us here, Ioan. Pirgos City has some great features that really stand out at me and make me fall in love with it. Especially the bridge and the waterfront. Great job, my friend.

It's also been a lovely run in OSITM with you my friend, you truly deserved it.

Update 36

Yesterday I came home from a 3-day excursion. I took about 600 pictures (:D) and am going to show you the best of the best :P
First, a few panoramas from Veliko Tarnovo. Having a history of more than 5 millennia, it is one of the oldest settlements in Bulgaria. It was also the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire (from 1185 to 1369).
(click for full resolution)

I was lucky to watch the Audiovisual show of the Tsarevets Hill, which is quite unique

One of the city churches

I also visited a few monasteries in the area like the Transfiguration Monastery

... and the Dryanovo Monastery

And, last but not least, a panorama from the centre of the town of Tryavna

Now, onto the SC4 pictures :P

First, a day mosaic (sorry for the lack of cars)

A night pic

And a huge panorama (9000x950 px!, 4 MB), click on the thumbnail for full size

That's all for today, I hope you like it. Any form of feedback is welcome ;)

Wow, some beautiful pictures from holiday, Ioan. I did not know that Bulgaria had such a long history, but I feel like that town certainly would contain lots of it after looking at it. The red rooves and the way it's nestled by the riverside and then backing up to the mountains is really interesting; I might have to stop by sometime.  :)

Pirgos has such a varied amount of buildings from everywhere it really creates a unique city. You are able to blend these BATs so seamlessly as well, you certainly have created a masterpiece here, my friend.

Great photos from Bulgaria. I have been to Varna once for holiday. But I have to admit that I did not see much of the country.  &ops My girlfriend preferred to go to the beach instead of sightseeing.  ::)
