Hi all. This is my first improvisation with Lake Onoke region (He was recently presented in LEX). This is variant of Russian development (maybe occupation?:) ) of the region in northern climate: Kazaki on horses, Fortresses and little villages.

The first map created in 1900. She displayed villages and the city-fortress Meglin. Second map is a satellite image, that imprinting in 1983 modern development of the region with the notation of the local infrastructure.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place...

Recently I tried to map the region I come from: Oldenburger Münsterland, which consists of the District of Vechta and the District of Cloppenburg...
Since the whole region would be way to big for SC4, I decided to map the south-eastern part of it with SRTM data (that means almost the full District of Vechta and some parts of the District of Cloppenburg):

I still need to load the region, but I will say more towards the end of this post:

This is the same area, just in Google Earth:

On the bottom right you can spot a small lake, the Dümmer.
Unfortunately I was not able to get it on my map, because the average depth is 1.5 meters.... causing the lake to be a flat area.
I'd love to release that map somehow, since it is my first scaled region ever, but I am not able to, if I don't get the Dümmer to appear... any suggestions?

Fabian :)

Andreas

What about making the Dümmer a bit less shallow with SC4Terraformer, so it will show up in the map?

or loading the greyscale into photoshop, and lowering the white on the lake to make it deeper that way.

Hi Geoff, I like the look of your map. Very professional. I have seen tourist maps that were very similar.

This is a map of an airport I'm currently making. Its called Arjay Solomen Int'l Airport, belonging to California City.

Concourse A is an International Terminal (one of the many).
Concourse B is also International but is only operated by American Airlines.
Concourse C is the regional terminal.
Lufthansa owns all of Concourse D.
Concourse E only handles flight within the US.
Concourse F is one of the unique terminals. It handles most of the Latin American flights.
Concourse G handles most of the Asian flights.
Concourse H is an all-European terminal.
Concourse I handles ALL African flights in the entire airport.
Concourse J is owned entirely by Quantas, which means it handles all Australian and most Oceanian flights.
Even though its not on here, Concourse K (In Terminal 2) is the cargo terminal.
Well, I'll be posting more soon!
I love airplanes.

Here is a map I made for my new mayor diary, which can be found here:

Here is my version for the north-west corner of the region. Greenglade and Shelbyton are in the south of the map. The dotted line shows the city boundries. NOTE: Click to see image in full size

It is based on the ordance survey maps, which are made for the UK:

I know its not exactly the same, but the program I use is quite limited.

The first in a series of historical transit maps, leading up to the projected map in 2030. Feel free to point out any possible improvements in the map. I will add them on in the next version.

My offering for you...needs a little bit more of a fiddle but on the whole it doesn't look to bad?
