Hey Ioan,
It's no surprise that your MD has made it to 500 comments, I can easily see twice that in the near future and more.  Your MD is always a pleasure on the eyes and this last update is no exception.  Great night mosaics and the fire works are a very fitting effect for your MD moving to "The Classics" section!

Congrats from myself and The SC4D Staff!

You finally made it, eh.. The classics. Congrats my friend !  &apls

A nice compilation of mosaics there, I like the fireworks effect you've added to the pictures. But you'd better hide the undeveloped spot...  ;D

Take care,
-Arthur.

Hi io_bg!  I'm a big fan of this MD (even if I just lurk and don't post...).  I really like the integration of the canal in the second to last update, it was really great!

I've got a question for you... what sidewalk mod are you using?  It looks like the modular one from Jeronij... but it only includes the medium wealth texture.  I've used the modular for as long as it has been out...  but I'm starting to get tired of the changes and I really like the uniformity that you've got here.  Do you remember which one you have/where you got it?

Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Check out Abelfarei!

rooker1 - Thanks so much, Robin!
kelis - Thank you!
planetechef - Don't worry, this is just a matter of time ;)
art128 - Thanks, Art. However I've never said the city is 100% completed ;)
CabraBuitre - Thank you! I am using Jeronij's mod but have removed the high-wealth (§§§) sidewalks; this way the medium wealth ones show up next to high-wealth buildings, too.
976 - Thanks!
kwakelaar - Thank you, friend!
RickD - I'm really glad you like it! Thanks!
Battlecat - Thanks, my friend!
Tomas Neto - Thanks to you too! :)

Update 40 - part 1

Today we're moving west into some newly-developed suburbs of Levsky city. Click on the thumbnail for full resolution (3700x1850 px)

This particular suburb is still growing and lately there have been proposals for widening this road to an avenue before it's too late.

What happens next - find out in the second part of the update ;) (I'm not able to post it right now because large parts of the suburbs are getting abandoned because of a strange reason - there's enough jobs and everything but those sims keep leaving their houses :bomb: if you've any ideas why this is happening - please share them with me!)

Wonderful pictures, Ioan. Pirgos is looking just as beautiful as ever, and you've used the new RHW and NWM really well. :)

the full resolution picture is  :o :o :o awesome details & very clever traffic, i hope you will fix your problem soon  ;)
& coming soon "Sakura Republic".

So that's what those slip lanes are for...   &idea

I actually ran into some problems myself with no job zots.  If development found jobs before the NWM, and have no job zots after starting the NWM, then you should double check the route queries.  You might want to replace certain NWM roadways (e.g. the AVE-2) back to Maxis roadways to see if the Sims can find jobs again.

ecoba - Thank you, my friend, it's good to see you posting here :P
planetechef - Thanks! I hope so, too!
sumwonyuno - Unfortunately the NWM roads aren't the problem (at least I think so). I made a few alternative roads for the sims however some neighbourhoods are still being abandoned ()sad()
kelis - Thanks!

Update 40 - part 2

The road has been upgraded to a medianless avenue and some department stores have been built around it, providing both jobs and shopping places for the sims.

And an up-to-date overview of the suburb (sorry for the abandoned houses, I know they look ugly but there's nothing I can do about them). Click for full resolution (4300x3200 px)

Comments, suggestions and criticism are welcome as well as ideas how to solve the abandonment problem :D
