Nice shopping centers and roads.
I have a similar abandonment problem in my region. I think it is because I can not keep up with high wealth commercial demand in the suburbs. The problem is that there are almost no suburban style buildings with a decent amount of high wealth jobs. Mostly only skyscrapers or too fancy looking stuff. So I have to choose between ruining my suburbs with buildings that do not fit in or live with abandonment problems.

Another idea I had would be to create a 1 tile lot that offers a large amount of high wealth jobs to balance the demand. But that would be cheating and it would ruin traffic flows because too many people would drive to this lot.  ::)

Pity about the abandonment, Ioan. The suburb looks like it must have been really nice before the abandonment set in. The RHW and NWM work in the area looks really good as well. Can't wait to see more.

RickD - Thanks for your suggestion, I'll put a few skyscrapers in the neighbouring city and see what happens :P
ecoba - Thank you, my friend! I hope today's update will be no disappointment!
976 and Tomas Neto - Thanks, guys!

Update 40 - part 3

So, here is the third and the last part of this update $%Grinno$%. Below is another high-resolution mosaic for you (click to see the full size)

Here's a region pic as well showing the purposed new highway connecting Troyan and the suburbs north of it. In yellow are the main roads, in orange - already existing highways and in red - the purposed ones. The rail line might also be lengthened to the north to provide another link with the rest of the region. As you can see, the new highway will cross another already existing one. If you have any proposals for the interchange between them, go ahead and share your ideas :)

This is all for now, I hope you enjoyed the pics. Comments and suggests are more than welcome.

Sorry, can't help you out with the abandonment problems in Troyan.
The pictures do look great though and I like how you have made the layout and infrastructure for this area.

Congrats my friend, you made it !  &apls

Also nice little mosaic there, I really liked it. Nice and intense use of the NWM ! The RHW looks great too, but I think it wasn't necessary to make an underpass (at the top, where it leads to a small suburban development. I think a standard road crossing should be better.

Take care !
-Arthur.

Update 41

The highway has been lengthened so that the residents of Troyan can get to Levsky city and Tsarigrad much faster. Here's the interchange between the old and the newly-built highway (again click for full resolution)

As mentioned before, Tsarigrad is one of the cities that is next to the region's main highway. Here's a square from it:

Another view

And a mosaic showing more from the area

That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed it! Please leave some feedback, readers' opinions are always important!

A really beautiful square you have made, and those trees, if you don't mind me asking, who made them?
Your interchange is looking great as well.

Wooow :D!,

I see I've missed quite much of your MD.. I like the way you've used the new RHW, that intersections are great :)

I promise I'll check your MD every update and comment it  ;)[/b]

Wish you all the best,

That interchange looks great man  &apls and that mosaic in the last update is also amazing. (One sugjestion, use the cheat to get rid of the zones. Such a nice mosaic should not have ugly zones in it.  ;) )

Only 3 comments? ()sad() Don't you like my MD any more?

Quick replies:
kwakelaar - Thank you! The trees are made by c.p. and you can find them in his latest prop pack (on the LEX)
Gilikov1994 - Thanks a lot, my friend.
marsh - Thanks. And sorry for the zones, I'll try to avoid them next time ;)

A new update should be coming soon.

I'm sorry, Ioan. I've been lurking around here for a while.

Your most recent updates are really stunning. You certainly have mastered the use of the RHW, and the pictures are just flat out beautiful.

Tsarigrad is well crafted!  Heh, it was a delight trying to understand that one highway interchange!   ;D

The interchange in the first pic is fantastic.  Amazing what you can do with the new RHW. Too bad I didn't have time to play in the past weeks. When looking at your pictures  I feel the urge to start the game right now.

Nice update ! I like how the town is composed with that elevated rail line. Although, i'm not really fan of that mix of Parisian and Art Deco, but it still can be looking good..eh..

Take care,
-Arthur.

ecoba - Thanks, Ethan.
sumwonyuno - lol, did you succeed in that in the end? $%Grinno$% :D
RickD - Thanks, Raphael!
art128 - Thank you, Arthur. However, there's only one art-deco building and also art-deco architecture appeared first in Europe so I think it blends well with the older W2W buildings.

Update 42

Today we're visiting a newer district of Tsarigrad, located around the ring-road (highway to be more precise ;D) which goes round the centre of the city.

2 of the schools in the area, you can also see the tram line which many sims enjoy travelling on their way to work.

Some hospitals

And now a few mosaics of the same area

Here you can see the transition between the sunken and elevated highway as well as two interchanges and a stadium

And a closer look of the district

That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed it. If yes, please leave a comment. Criticism is welcomed as well - there's always room for improvement!

Wow, wonderful work here, Ioan. That ring road certainly is a marvel to behold. The last mosaic however is my favourite, I especially like the middle complexes that hold SimFox's trees.  :D
