Here's a few more random pics from the city, i'm mainly working on the suburbs at this point as the city centre takes to long to work on due to the lag :( It takes like 15mins to place an underground station :/

Very British looking as always.  I like the way , in pictures 2 and 4, you've got the corner gascooker shops in the same block as the Tescos - it makes it look like there was probably some older buildings filling the block before they were demolished to make way for the supermarket.

That's also quite some railyard - does it form the boundary between the residential / commercial part of town and the industrial areas?

Very good updates of late, especially the most recent in the suburbs.

I had the lag problem....by the sounds of it you need your RAM increased. Originally I had 250MB of Ram but got it upped to 700MB a few years ago. Made such a difference you wouldn't believe it. Get what ever platform your using (Tower/Laptop) down to PC World, they should be able to sort it for you.

I have the same lag problem and I have 4GB of RAM (limited to 3GB due to 32bit OS), other than that, I really like your city. I've been to England recently (London, a week ago) and it looks just like it.
RIP Adrian (adroman), you were a great friend

Cheers for the comments peeps :)

Zero7: the rail yard is right on the edge of the southern city tile, i'll get an image showing the area, but yes (ignoring the "city boundries") the railyard seperates an industrial area from residential.

wallasey: i have 3.5 gb of ram and a 2.3 ghz each, triple core processor so i think it's simply the size of the city as its all medium/high denisty buildings over a 4km^2 tile.

WC_EEND: Thanks my intention was for it to look like london :)

Sciurus: Merci pour votre opinion. :) peut etre dans l'avenir je vais essayer à construire une ville français, et j'utilserai votre batiments. :) (think that makes sense :/ )

Np, they say size matters.....and after the numbers i've seen fly around above...I'm feeling very under privileged. Oh well!

Wow! &apls Won't need to go to London now, as you've recreated it here. =) &apls Does it lag cause of ploping the U stations and then afterwards when you exit the underground station plop mode or is it something else? Because I get that lag for about 3-6mins every time. My sollution? El.rail, tram and pass. rail. Well I do have a few lines of Metro myself. You just can't do without it.

Great city! I haven't used a lot of these British themed buildings in some time but you have inspired me to go digging again into the depths of my HD  :P

I've been on British grounds -near Bristol- recently.  You made me remember my trip completely.  :) Great job, keep up this piece of art! I can see you put quite some effort on it. It is great! I love it.
