I am trying to build a simple bridge to cross a river but no matter what I do I ALWAYS get "Unsuitable Grade for Construction".  I am posting a picture to show where I am trying to build this thing.  Can anyone see why the game is not allowing me to build this simple bridge??

Which slope mod do you use, if any? Some of them are rather strict, so try removing them temporarily and see if it works without one in your plugins folder.

I beleive I have ennedi's slope mod.  I never thought of temporarily removing it.  I'll try that.

ennedi's slope mod is indeed very restrictive, try removing it and it should work

... and if that still doesn't work, Ennedi created a ENN_Temp_BridgesAndLevellingMod.zip which can be found  in his HOW TO: Build a Land Bridge tutorial... I've used (use) it quite a bit. (thanks Ennedi!)

Be careful though... what ever you drag is level, and unintentional 'terraforming' can take place...

It can really suck if one forgets to switch it out too!  ::)  $%Grinno$%

Happy bridge building!

EDIT:

PS: Don't forget to save before building your bridge(s)...    ??? :'(

Thanks every one! I removed the Slope Modd from my plugins and succesfully built the bridge.  I had to cycle through the available bridges to find one that didn't have a MASSIVE slope going up to the bridge but I found one that sat flat on the ground and that worked fine.
