Hi all,

Recently my computer got a nasty virus and eventually I was forced to go nuclear and reformat my hard drive.  I was able to back up a lot of my files before wiping the slate clean... including my plugins folder for SC4.

Obviously I'm not very tech savvy, hence the virus problem, so here I am asking a potentially very basic question: What actions beyond dumping all the files into a fresh reinstalled/patched game do I need to take to use all of this custom content?  I have a few gigs of mainly bats and lots and of course NAM, CAM and a few other mods.

Thanks in advance

Andreas

Install the game and the available patches and updates. Then simply copy your plugins and your regions folder back into "My Documents\SimCity 4\". Just make sure you don't forget something, like dependency files, or terrain controllers, otherwise you might end up with brown boxes or even crashes.
