SC4 Problem with windows vista

Hi to all!  ...............I am still trying to run the game in windows vista , and although i have found a file searching into Internet , it doesnt apply to my system ( windows vista home premier).....i remember that i had also search for a solution in the past , but also with no result...anything new to this issue?...
and something more...i havent tried to play the game in windows 7 ...will i face the same problem , as my pc is getting older ....is there any solution or we must always play it with our old pc?

have you tried changing the compatibility...

click start
right click on the SimCity4 icon - this will bring up the 'properties window'
click on the compatibility tab and you will see a check box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Check the box and use the drop down window to select 'Windows XP (service pack 2)"
Click Apply at the bottom and then OK.
Try running your game..

it works for me.. I have Vista Home Premium... I also have SC4 running on my boyfriends laptop which is running Windows 7...

Gringamuyloca  thanx , i have already done so in the past , but unfortunately while the game is running enough well , whenever i make a zoom or trying to move aroung the city my laptop is restarting again...no crash into desktop just restart....pls can anyone confirm that SC4 Rush Hour is running ok in Windows 7?
