All right...now for this round, I vote wilko, and I'll go into detail why.  Travis, I really like your picture.  There are a lot of things that are interesting in it, and a lot of neat themes, but I think that those themes are juxtaposed with a bit too much force.  For example, you have at the top of the picture tenement buildings, and then train tracks.  That looks rather good...but then right next to those tracks are at least semi-decent looking row homes along an avenue.  And directly across the avenue is a nice-looking plaza and some mid-to-high wealth, high density commercial office towers.  It transitions rather rapidly to me.  Also, there are some interesting elements, like the underground parking and the freeway with the wall that, while very nice looking, also seem to be forced into the picture somewhat haphazardly (although I do like the look of the parking under the building).

Wilko's picture, on the other hand, has a nice, rather unified theme: homes along the streets, commerce along the road, nothing too dense.  I think the water tower is just a little out of place, but over all the atmosphere of the picture shines through.  Also, it seems he took a bit more time to work out the presentation.

Okay...so I know I'm guilty of about half the things I mentioned (which is why I hardly ever get to the next round), so maybe this could be counted as hypocracy ...but I thought it might be helpful for once to go into detail why I voted the way I did.  That's not to say that Travis's picture isn't a good one (because it's still better than most of mine), but it's only to illustrate why I didn't vote for it.

I have to cast my vote to Wilko for many of the same reasons as Masochist explained so clearly. The only "fault" ( ) I find is the Palm tree on the Petrol (Gas)station forecourt. A tree mod would sort that out
