Hello everyone.

I can't seem to get the Modular Rail yard system to work as a freight station the way it is supposed to.
Even though I build the yards next to industry, connected by road; even with rail as the only possible connection to neighbor cities, the rail yards just go unused and the industry complains of lack of neighbor connections. Basically, the Rail Yard system is not functioning as a freight station the way it is supposed to.

What could I be doing wrong? Have done some researching and I haven't found an answer to this problem yet.

Thanks in advance.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?" DEATH thought about it. "CATS," he said eventually, "CATS ARE NICE.

Not real sure if it supposed to be a freight station. I know it states this in the download listing:

QuoteSpecial note: This package is not intended to function as a Freight Station, but to simulate the function of a large railyard. The start sections should act as the freight stations for the expansion sections only. [-further experimentation and updates will improve this function, but for now, consider this package to be the final beta.]

I have also used these, and have not had them behave as freight stations either. To me, the above quote seems to indicate that the start sections give the appearance of stations since they are 'collection points' for the side sections, but don't actually provide 'station' functionality. Just a thought...
