travismkaing: Thank you. Thats 3 city-lovers so-far that I've manged to get to like my rural scenes.  ;D

kelis: Thank you kelis  :)

io_bg: Thank you. I actually made the terrain myself (not the textures) so that I could replicate a prairie feeling.  I may not have got it down 100% But I think it came out very nice.  :P

Fabian93: Thank you fabian! That means a lot. Also, it's funny. My work makes some people want to play SC4 again, let makes others want to "uninstall the game".  :D

nbvc: Thank you!  :)

Biriali: Does this work?   ;)

silentbreaker: Thanks. And yes, it was.  ;)

Girafe: Thank you griafe!  :)

Yan077: Thanks!  :)

mightygoose:  :D

Tomas Netos: Thank you!  :)

strucku: Thanks a lot struca! I've been meaning to finish the Antarctica expedition sometime soon. Don't know when yet though.  &mmm

Ciuu96: Thank you a lot Ciuu.  :) Every day I relize about the many lurkers of my MD... and theres quite a lot of them.  :D

cubby420:  ;D Thanks!

ecoba: Thanks! :)

turtle: Thank you! And I will try to do so for as long as I can.  ;)

CJ: Thank you jordan!  :)

Allstillwell: Thanks. :) I try to use SC4 as much as possible but when there is no CC to support what I am doing, I have to resort to photoshop. I have some urban pictures... mostly in Nouadhibou, But I enjoy making nature more. It's more fun for me. I'll try and make some in the future.  ;)

art128:  ;D

nedalezz: Thanks.  ;D And yes, I sent you a link in a PM.  ;)

So, I was planning for a lot more on this update.... but I screwed up. I was screwing around with my terrain mod. (On the tile I was working on for this update) and when I quit I accidentally "Quit and save"......  :angrymore:

Anyhow, I have 3 pictures from it (counting the one from last time) So I'll post them anyways. This will just be a.... shorter update than usual.

enjoy!

Albus of Garaway

This, my friend, is the most impressive use of SC4 I have ever seen. I seriously mean that. I've been around SC4 communities since 2005, and never have I seen anything so beautiful and, more importantly, creative. As I looked at those marvelous pictures of the Wild West, my jaw dropped to the floor. Your use of flora is astounding. What impresses me more than anything is that you attempted such an unexplored area of SimCity. I see this in multiple areas of your MD: Northern Africa, the Arctic, all of these are almost virtually unexplored territory. You, right now, are pushing the boundaries of SimCity 4, proving that the status quo midwestern or European W2W cities don't even scratch the surface of what's possible.

cubby420

Very true Albus of Garaway. It doesn't even seem like marsh is pushing boundaries anymore, but rather is completely ignorant to the fact that there were any boundaries to begin with.

On to the update...first a question: are the rapids texture at the bottom of pic one from orange_o's recent content dump? It looks fantastic.

Secondly some criticism. I love the scenes you are showing off and that slow descent in the first pic is just great. Excellent prop use too, as always. The rock texture though...I'm not so in love with. Its distractingly repetitive in my opinion...I get what you were going for though, just something was lost in the offing.

I fully agree with Albus of Garaway. I never thought that nature would look so beautiful. I am always complete surprised what you're going to make next.

I love your wild landscapes ... an unseen style untill now  ( at least for me  ::)) . The rapids kit from David should be available before the end of January , I don't doubt you'll present us wonders with it .  ;D

(Don't use too much visual effects to present your pictures to the competition ,  their natural grandness don't need them .  $%#Ninj2 )

Albus of Garaway: Thank you. That really means a lot. When I want to make a new region, I think about what I want to do. Not what I can. This has, although, resulted in many failed attempts at regions, but on the other hand, has resulted in my current work.  :P Another thing is just my personality. I don't like doing what everyone else does.

cubby420: Thanks cubby. The rapids are not Orange's rapids. They are photoshopped in. Under that photoshopping are jeronij's plop water. The rock texture is very repetitive simply because it's a large cliff. I don't think any rock mod can change that.  :-[

Badsim: Thank you Cédric. Theres lots of visual effects on some of my pictures simply because I like to photoshop them. It's something I like doing in my spare time.  :P And I've been waiting for those rapids for a long time. I don't always like to photoshop in things (like the STR bridge) But sometimes I have to to get the thing that I want.  ()stsfd()
