Well I was actually just thinking if it would be possible to use the FLEXfly EMIS for other networks suck as EL or Elevated Rail? I men it would be kinda cool-looking and pretty useful in the length?

Thx for your time .

Quoteother networks suck

I also think other networks suck :D

But I agree that flexyfly would be ferry useful, but I does take allot of code to make just one piece, so I think it will take some time before it will be integrated in to other networks.

Someone had asked about FLEXFlying the Rail 90-degree curves awhile back, but the issue there is that the piece is 9x9, meaning it's going to be an even more massive undertaking than the 4x4 FLEXFly for EMIS and isn't super feasible.  You'll probably see FLEXFly-style technology pop up in other places as we push forward with development, but it ultimately depends on whether or not the item makes sense as a Flex item, the size and orientation of the piece, and of course, time.

I agree that it would be useful in some instances, but I don't anticipate it happening anytime soon.

And have me do another 4117+ lines of code (what FLEXFly A1 is sitting at right now, all FLEXFly code combined is 8111) :P

But yeah, FLEXFly styled curves are rather... intensive to make. It would be simple if we limited it to only maxis networks at only orthogonal crossings though... so maybe (about 500 lines of code maybe?). Though I'm pretty sure people are going to start asking for network X or network Y and... it just balloons from there.

Oh I wasn't aware of the heavy coding involved . That makes it kinda yeah . Impo to do . Or yeah . You know what I mean . Well if you at some point feel up for it, it would be amazing ;) Haha .

Sorry for the slip of "suck" and "such", I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark so sometimes it slips . Of course I'm aware of the difference ;)
