Oh man Marsh,  You are the god of City Journals.  This seems a little like an Endora inspired journal.  Which ranks in probably my top five journals I've ever seen.  Yours is up there too, so this new development is pretty exciting.  Also, as you know I really love stories.  I can't wait to see how this goes!!

cubby420

Long time, no see! Great stuff lately Marsh! One quick question: how are you liking rivit's replacement street set?

Nardo69

Woah. You did all this in only two weeks? Boy, I am getting old, I do love this game since it came out but I need months for a small map ...  :'(

Great work. Good choice of plugins, decent PS (not too much). Are these streets one of rivit's SAM mods? They do look good here! HMS Victory (at least I guess so) nect to an AEGIS cruiser looks rather strange to me but oh well ..

Take care my friend and don't forget to make backups!

How I missed this update  ()what()

It reminds me a bit of Endora, you're certainly an artist, I also cannot say much more.......

Yann

jgehrts

Another CJ that I've somehow missed and spend too much time catching up on because it's so great! I agree with Yann - you're definitely an artist. This seems like more of a canvas than a game for you. Awesome work.

Hi marsh,
I´ve changed the place and will read Your always nice and impressive journal here on SC4D. And looking to Your new pictures again the only thing I can say is  &apls.
I love Your stuff, greets, Carl

Biriali: I can not say I have. I'm not much of a book reader. But if I ever need to that one will be at the top of my list. It sounds intriguing.  :)

MrMAvE94: Thank you. And yes I did. It is by "rivit" on the STEX.

eldaldo: Thank you. I must say I have been really inspired by Endorra making this. And, like you, that is high on the list.  :P

cubby420: They are very nice.  :) They add a sort of... run down, dilapidated feeling that the maxis streets don't quite accomplish.  :P

i_love_lamp:  ::)

Nardo69: Yes I did.  ()stsfd() Although this past week... I have played SC4 none. (I play in strides. :P) The port I was experimenting with. Modern day battleships next to steamships and 17th century sailing vessels does look strange... but I think it fits... somehow...  ??? :P

Yan077: As I've said to eldaldo, It's been a big inspiration. :P

jgehrts: Thank you, and may I welcome you to the MD. :P I'm really happy you like it.

Wow Marsh! &apls  and I thought your desert region was the best I've ever seen! I love the grit and grime simply amazing. Your attention to detail is simply the best ever!!!!!

One suggestion. Maybe between updates you could do another "mini" game play tutorial like you did with the river. I think it's safe to say that everyone would benefit from your knowledge.

I cannot wait for more bring on the grime!!!! :D

So, recently I have been working on tree controllers. Just simple ones right now. Nothing amazing. But pretty decent I could say (if I'm not being to modest.) At the moment all I can really make are 1 types of tree covering almost all altitudes. But I am trying to learn.

Check out this thread if you are interested. :)

And I'll give you a nice pic for now because of lack of an update.

Sciurus

Really nice pics marsh! &apls And the "Halloween effect" on the last picture is very good done

Hi marsh ,

You're so talented  :o ... you don't need anybody for urban atmosphere (with quaint charm ) like on the previous page , your mastery about various subject matters is utterly amazing ...

&apls &apls &apls

Can't wait to see what you'll do - some others wonders , for sure - with the TSC RuralPack (soon available: http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=12695.0) , I just hope that Girafe's seasonal maples will be soon published on the LEX as well .   :)

Cédric.

I don't know. I can never keep my mind set to 1 single thing. I like Gansbaai. As it allows me to do... well anything I want. Multiple things. I don't know if anyone knows this but I am actually in a union (USNW). And I've been having much fun with it. I've created an entire planet essentially, which I will show eventually.

Anyways. I'm bringing Gansbaai back. (You waited a "long" time right?...  %wrd) It will be slightly different. Al Aauim is far away from the desert country. A dependency of it. Like how Hong Kong was to the U.K. Nouadhibou I have... plans for. (And have even opened up the region.  ::). Now THAT is a long time eh'?)

You will see this all eventually.

P.S. - I bet you all want to club me to death for not making up my mind...  :D
