Welcome to my Region, Kensington.
This is my first attempt at a mayor diary even though i have been playing SC4 for a number of years. Previously, my regions and cities were, too put it bluntly, rubbish. Looking at people's mayor diaries and the Show Us your thread has given me inspiration to create a realistic looking cities. Pictures will come very soon, just have to set up imageshack account, take screenshots etc.

nah, i was saying my old cities used to be pretty rubbish! these ones im going for realism

Very nice start! Just a few suggestions: avoid picturing abandoned buildings (they just don't look that good). Also hide all possible menus and borders (the yellow pause one in particular) and try to have as much traffic as possible on your pictures otherwise your cities might look as if they're deserted.
