Ok, so I have recently downloaded Nam, Ram, Sam, and about 1Gig of bits of pieces for SC4.

I now have the issue that traffic is driving around on the left hand side of the road, yet the roads are setup for RHD - American style.... How can I fix this, as it is driving me bananas!!!

Thanks,

Dave

From the sounds of it, you've got an LHD game, but there's some components that are operating on RHD.  That would indicate that you need to install the LHD Plugins that are included in the NAM and all of its related mods (like RAM and SAM) in order to ensure proper functionality.  Having an LHD game without installing the LHD Plugins also can lead to all Rail networks and any road crossings with them ceasing to function as well.

OK, thanks for the advice, just installed all of them, and re-installed, making sure to click on teh LHD option.... now to go and test it.... fingers crossed....

THANKS!!!!!

For whatever reason, it hasn't worked.....

I suppose I can live with it, as annoying and stupid as it looks!

Thanks anyway mate

Thanks H20dk,

tried that too, and still no difference.

Should it change the roads automatically, or would I have to start a whole new region for it to take effect?

No. It should change automatically.

By the sounds of it, you've actually got an RHD version.

Did you buy your copy of the game over the internet, or in a store there in the RoI?

Better solution,
What language files were in your SC4 directory by default?

If "UKEnglsh" was present, then you need the LHD plugins.

If only "English" and "Spanish" were present, then you don't need the LHD plugins and their presence may be detrimental to functionality.

Basically I have a copy given to me by a friend. It isn't an original disc, but he gave it to me with a serial number, so who knows?

The languages that I have are:

Danish
Dutch
Finnish
French
German
Italian
Norwegian
Polish
Portugese
Spanish
Swedish
UKEnglish

When I first got it running a few months ago, everything worked fine, and acted as it should now, but since I came back to it in the last week, it has all gone messed up...... I have reinstalled NAM, RAM, SAM, Rural highway, etc, checked the regedit too, but still to no avail
