Update 73 | Nimkish Bay

Okay, we'll take a little break from the NYC updates and visit a smaller city. It was actually shown in the last teaser :P
If you're riding on the highway from western end of the region towards it's centre then you'll go over this bridge
73.1

Then you'll pass this weird interchange $%Grinno$%
73.2

Another interchange but in the suburbs of the city
73.3

The train station
73.4

The intersection next to it
73.5

Considering the size of this city it has quite an extensive tram network. At this part it crosses the rail line and a congested avenue.
74.5

Closer look
74.6

Going west we arrive at this avenue crossing
74.7

Let's move on to the coastline :P I really like how Mattb325's [insert correct spelling here] W2Ws grew here.
74.8

A small yacht port
74.9

A small park located along the coast next to the Downtown. The (still nameless) river also flows into the sea here.
74.10

A cargo ship preparing to dock at the port
74.11

And in the end a early morning picture :P
74.12

That's all for now, I hope you like it!

Congratulations on your beautiful photos Jonah. Very nice suburbs seem nice and calm. Your transport network can be improved  especially in small  junctions, but not fatal and if they remain  so. However, little miss New York, and you?
Otherwise chudestna work as always.

Some very nice images, and I agree the row of Mattb's w2w along the see are perfect for the spot.

Oh these intersections are great.
And mattb's houses works perfectly with your scene

Beautiful work. The time you must of spent on those interchanges (and all the transit network actually) really pays off. That coastal highway is amazing. I have to say though, I like Pirgos more than New York. Both, though, being awesome.

Great update!  &apls  You made perhaps the best New York recreation I've seen, but I still prefer Pirgos and am glad you brought us back here. Those mattb325 bats are really handy for filling in areas without much space (1 tile depth).

Fantastic new update there! That are wonderful views of your beautiful looking city. Picture 74.8 looks really really nice. Also great yacht port and port...

One of the best use of the latest NAM I've ever seen  :o
Excellent update Ioan  &apls

Thank you all for the positive feedback! Forgot to mention that all buildings in that town were grown :)
I've been recently trying to create a realistic rural area. Here are a couple of teasers ::)

ivo_su - Thanks although my name isn't Jonah :D And how do you think those junctions can be improved?

Update 74 | Nimpkish County

Let's have a little tour round the outskirts of Nimpkish Bay.
74.1

The road connecting the city with the villages east of it
74.2

Larger (and more expensive) housing next to the beach
74.3

The centre of the village
74.4

The rail line separates it from the farms
74.5

A-1, the main highway in the whole region of Pirgos, passes through some farming areas
74.6

It also bridges a valley. Building this bridge was expensive but it is much better than having steep slopes on the highway.
74.7

Some suburbs located west of the city of Nimpkish Bay
74.8

And here are some pics of the city itself
74.9

A-1 goes through the city as well
74.10

The rail line separates the downtown from the industrial zone
74.11

Large blocks near the stadium
74.12

The city relies on a tram network to help the residents reach their workplaces faster than they would do by cars
74.13

And here's a map of the tram network (my first map ever)
74.14

That's all for now, I'll see you soon with more new pics ;D

Great update Ioan!  &apls  I really like that rural junction, just perfectly done. Also nice to see a map here--I'd like to create something like that for my tram routes. The rural areas and city look very nice as well.
