Lots missing ingame query menus

Every so often I download a lot and it doesn't have a query menu when you attempt to query it ingame. Is there a method using Reader, etc. that would allow me to fix this issue? It's very annoying when you want to mark a lot as historical and it can't be queried.

What do you mean by "Query Menus"? The description in the menu, the hover (mini) query, or the full query dialog?

The hover query missing, means wrong Occupanf Groups. The full query missing may mean either serious modding errors (not very likely, as of now), or maybe missing some "Essentials" (check the lot's dependencies list).

I believe I'm referring to the full query dialog where a brand new window opens when you click on the building using the query tool and it displays job count, crime rate etc.

Cogeo gives good advice. I don't know what specific building you're trying to query but there is a 99% chance that you do not have the essentials file. EX: a BSC CAMeLot will not query unless you have the BSC Essentials in you're plugin folder.
