Odd textures while putting Girafe Road Signs

Hi everybody. Some days ago I downloaded from Simtropolis the French Roadsigns by Girafe http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/files/file/26510-girafes-french-roadsigns-lotted/, which I thought they could have been fantastic. But when I began to plop them, right after the first save, the transparent texture became like this:

Is there any way to fix it? Thank you for your replies  :thumbsup:

This has nothing to do with Girafe's signs, this is a reoccurring problem. A lot of Lots with transparent/no textures have this occur. What happened was bad gameplay mechanics, if Lots did not have some sort of base texture requirement, for some reason, it would cause a hole in the ground, resulting in 1, a black hole, 2, the background grid below, or 3, a repeating graphical glitch. If this was not the case, they could of developed a lot of buildings in SC4 without the need for base textures in places.

Fix? Usually, the way to get around this was to turn Zone view on, then turn it off. However, that can take a long time, and this will happen again. There is one more option, involving you add a base texture yourself to all the signs, but that can take some time. In the future, there will be plans to make signs plop directly on top of road networks via puzzle pieces, instead of lots. When, no one knows.
