Highway construction: Part I

I have a beautiful Totori railway network. The traffic there is not very easy. It lacks a better highway that goes to the next city. The Prefekturverwaltung has decided to expand the old main road and to extend to Totori Regional Highway (TRH).

1. In the north a new road along the mountain chain and is being built parallel to the old main road.

2.At Totori Main Highway (TMH), the new route is being integrated into the highway network.


3.The first section of new motorway means an expansion of the existing road and connection to the existing highway.


4.After the building work, the children can safely via a pedestrian bridge to the school.


5.The diagonal section of road runs along the coast.

7.In a narrow 90-degree curve, the highway leading to the existing highway road.

Your highway looks very well made, Onii-chan! But I think for the main highway, the one that is elevated, you should use the RHW instead of the maxis highway.

@Kergelen:Hello Kergelen a template for the region was in Tottori Prefecture. Along the coast there is a long mountain range.
@art128:Hello little brother, the Rural Highway (RHW) consumes a lot of space.  :'( I have very little space within the urban area.  ()sad() I also have only a very small personal computer and not much space.  &cry2

Highway construction: Part II

Today we see the construction of part 2 of the new highway.

1.The new route for long distance service will find easy access to the existing road to the industrial area and an existing road to be expanded.

2.As part of the construction of the station is moved. Located on the old commercial street, the historic buildings moved to a field udn the road extended to the avenue. A cross between the highway is built.


3.The road to the fishing port is rotated 90 degrees to make way for road development.


4.After the construction works: The station has been moved away and the difficult road layout.


5.Along the Highway, the ancient houses are at a new location.


6.A ramp directs traffic to the fishing port.

8.At the school is still working on upgrading the road to solutions.  &sly

Highway construction: Part III

Today we see the construction of part 3 of the new highway.I've tried the NWM and am dissatisfied with the continuation of the new highway.  &sly The prefectural government has decided to use the monies to improve the transportation of goods by rail.  :)

1.I tried the mod and had difficulty at first to use it.


2.I like the mod the connector to the side streets has and goes over railroad tracks.


3.The highway was planned to run as a rural highway through the countryside.


4.The gentle curves is missing a base texture  &mmm


5.I would have fenced the road very happy to build even later guardrails on the road with the LE.  :(


6.The highway looks optically very good. Unfortunately, the mod uses 15 MB. I would prefer to just this one street and not all other parts of roads in the plugin folder.  ()sad()


7.If the optional single NWM roads I installed the highway project will lead to an end. Today, the project will finish first.

Nice updates Dantes!  &apls  I think your use of NWM stuff turned out quite well.

As far as RHW and NWM go, don't get frustrated and give up now! They can both be complicated and very frustrating at first (at least they were to me) but with a bit of practice they're one of the funnest parts of the game. I've seen your railroads so I know you're good at using the NAM. The road mods are pretty much the same, just a bit more complicated. The NWM and RHW wide-radius curves don't have base textures, just like RAM ones. Instead of using lot-based fences try just bordering the highway with trees or even using Orange's MMP stone walls. RHW especially takes up more space in the game but that's pretty realistic for highways. I place rails and highways first in my cities so I don't get pissed off about having to bulldoze everything  ;)  If your computer just doesn't have room then I completely understand but I would love to see more of your work with NWM & RHW  :thumbsup:
