DerChrischi - Thanks! I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what do you mean. The chimneys, visible there, are in the steel mill and electric-thermal power station.
Kergelen - Yes, you are right. It was quite arduous to save those images. Thanks!
ricardomiranda, RickD, rooker1, Flatron - Thanks a lot!  :)
Arthur - Thanks, friend! I'm glad, that following my MD was so boring  :D
Guillaume - Thank you too! ;)

It's time to show the region view, decluding last night shot, long not showed. Not just Kolbrów, but the whole country. I haven't showed it yet, so I have to write a little explanation.
I build my region with my friend. Northern part is his, while southern is mine, but it's not the hard rule. He had the thread at scd4 too [Linkie]. Both we have those 1,9 million citizens on 20x56km area (5x14 big city tiles).
But in the pictures, you can see not just Galand. Due to the fact, that with few players we have "real borders" project, their and our countries are in the same region. They are: Hoehensonne (by Andaj), Slavic Republic (RS)[Linkie](by Michalegia), and Kasandria (by DaveN). There is also Stadrussland [Linkie] (by Paratol), but far, behind the frame.

In addition three more maps
Cities map - Map with all cities, existing and planned (with apostrophe).
Administration map - Map with showed voivodeship partition and their capitals.
Physical - geographical map - Map with showed physical regions. Two mountain ranges: Sudeny (red) and Rapaty (orange) and other units.

Pictures 1,4MB. Click to enlarge.

Enjoy!  :)
EDIT: A little mistake appeard in the geographical map. Instead of "East Galish Lakeland Uphill", there should be "West Galish Lakeland Uphill".
Thank you for visiting Kolbrów, and for being for last ten years!

What a beautiful region! Are there already plans for a motorway network? I think there are not much motorways in the region now.

Great work with your last updates and the region overview. &apls

Superb looking overviews there, Kamil!

Looks like some great development is made by all of you, and this enormous project.

David - Thank you very much, for wishes   ;)
Paul 999 - Yes, you are right, there is currently one motorway (A1), leading from Kolbrów to Polbrań and then as an expressway to Grawańsk. There are two others in plans:
A2 - from existing junction with A1 near Łękołody, trough Tywnik, Morzów, Patowice and then to the border with Kasandria.
A6 - from Polbrań trough Burże Olszańskie to the border with Slavic Republic (RS)
Other routes are national road with one carriageway or partially with two carriageways, built using RHW2 (sometimes roads) and avenues. Maybe I will show the road map in the future.
Arthur - Yes, I think so too. Thanks!  ;)
Flatron - I'm glad hearing it :P
nbvc, noahclem, Framly, DerChrischi - Thank you too guys!  ;)

Time for a little time travel. Comparisions with the past image. But the real past... 2012 and 2008. Quite close? Just take a look.

Stanisłowska (former Mickiewicza)/ Dietla intersection.
At the beginning it had the roundabout form, but it was changed into the normal one.
There was also a skyscraper and today we can see there some office and galish Parliament on the other side of the road. The road bridge still has no name.

Zawircie (former part of Wola South)
Placed on the east side of Wirta River, previously was a part of bigger district of Wola South. There was a wide avenue, which has been narrowed partially. Also a tram line was added.
The district is bordering with a new rail line from the east, and green boulevards from the river's side.

Wola Wirtowska (former Wola South)
On the other side of the main, central rail line, there is modernistic district. A lot of building was changed, but the main road layout remained. Also the cemetery is still in the sam place.

Stare Miasto.
Probably you remember how the Old Town looks like today. That's how it was looking 4 years ago. The difference is quite remarkable, isn't it?

And the panorama, which also was taken in 2008

Enjoy! ;)

Great update  &apls I love the comparison of "then and now"--a nice way to tell a story. I like 2012 better, btw ;)

More than two - almost four  ;) Yes, I needed a lot of time, but mostly to find and choose small tenements. And it was very hard due to the relatively small option.

I know this - most time i compare BATs whether they fit together or not, and although there is so much stuff avalaible: to find the right solution if you want to build realistic is one of the most difficult things to me.

Again i can see You did it, these town pictures (especially pic 6) look a little bit like Warsaw in Google Earth, the old towncenter in 2008 reminds me to a book about town planning and maps of typical towns in Poland/Silesia. It´s a shame not to have more medieval buildings. They would fit in here perfectly (i think about typical baroque and gothic two or three story buildings there).
So i only can say: You do an awesome job here!  &apls

Also i love these overviews.  And to play together on one region: i should try this too, sounds very funny and interesting.
