If you've ever driven in NYC, you know that much of the parkway system is behind modern road engineering standards, including short ramps, minimal shoulders, and sharp turns. So in fact, the picture you mentioned is quite accurate.

I like the church one.  A bigger cemetery might look better though.

Great use of the RHW exit and entrance ramps. I like how ramps are located between the walls.
Also the church in the suburbs near the sea is a nice picture.
