was playing sim city fine with no problem other the odd crash every 3 or 4 hours but i save regularly so don't mind that too much, however a few hours ago it crashed to desktop, i then re launched my game it went to the black loading screen then quit to desktop for the 1st time ever.
I then re-installed the game and removed plugins then tried the same and the same happened but a message apeared saying "sim city 4 will run with the software driver when next launched" all my other games load fine though.
This happened to anyone else and does anybody know what caused and how to get the game working again?

Hi SharpeeJay

This seems to be a problem that happens to MAC users, having a look at their suggestions for fixing it, the only one that might help you is re-installing or updating your video card drivers.

Sorry I can't be more helpful

I'm not using a mac, using a 32 bit copy of windows 7, already tried with the same result, it's weird because it was working fine, and then all of a sudden my computer wasn't having it

I know you are not using a MAC, but it was the best I could do re help and that's pretty much what the MAC users report that one minute its fine and then the next its not, I'll do a bit more rummaging around in the site archives see if anything turns up.

do you have an Nvidia graphics card? These issues can occur sometimes using when Nvidia graphics cards.
Other than that, a full list of your PC specs (CPU, motherboard, GPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, etc) may be useful as well
