Hello there,

By advance apologize if not the right section, first time poster.

I'm trying to change a 1x1 lot so one diagonal half of it is transparent and other half has textures.
I found jeronij tutorial on this site, but it is to make lots totally transparent.

I used this information to change the lot, I put the code of a diagonal overlay texture in the base texture and remove initial base texture. Problem with this technique, it provides visual glitches after save (tutorial pointed this out).

So I ask you, is it possible to make half of the lot transparent without using overhang textures?

Thanks for your help,

vortext

Unfortuantly the answer is no. If the lot has an overlay but no base the visual glitch will always be present.
Using an overhanging texture as prop would be the best solution indeed. Though if you know how, you could also extract the cliff texture and turn it into a base texture for use in the LE.

There is one chance to do this without the glitch if You use an invisible base texture. You can erase the base texture in the reader and add a new one with the ID: 0x00000000. So You have an invisible one. It works for me without the glitch.
Also this phenomenon is only temporarily, after a new loading it is not ther till You open the water menue.
