I thought I had asked this before or seen it, but could not find it anywhere. When I plop the main aquarium building, the shark tank, whale tank, multitank, the buildings are cut off diagonally and pixelated. Is there a reason for this? I have all the dependencies so am not sure what would cause this. Again, I apologize if this was asked and answered already.

I did use this building too, but never had a problem. Maybe a picture could help? Do you have this problem with other buildings too? Probably not, otherwise you would have said it, right?

Grneyes

Hm. I've never tried posting a pic here or taking a pic of something in SC4. I will have to see how to do it.

&idea  Rename your Plugins directory and create another with the Zoo Modular  only .... Plop then the lot in the game ... if function properly there must be conflict of IDs texture with some other plugin.

So, I did this. And I still got the jagged edged buildings.

A pic would be of help indeed but if I understand correctly it are the buildings themselves which are distorted? If so I would suggest redownloading and reinstalling the set as some of the files probably got corrupted in the proces the first time around.

I'd just like to say that I'm an idiot and finally figured out what the problem was: I forgot to level the land.  &idea

Maybe you can ask the moderator to delete this thread? Otherwise humanity will always remember your idiocy... :P

Don't say you are an idiot, I have done the very same thing millions of times, not realizing that some modular stuff requires land to be level to plop.  The main one I use now that require it is a modular parking lot set I use, that requires land to be leveled, and many times I still forget to level before plopping.

I took it as frank ribbing the guy for calling himself an idiot.  I doubt Frank meant it to seem as rude as it may have appeared

Nah. Maybe someone else will learn from it. Always double check leveling your land! Just because it looks flat doesn't always mean it IS flat. :)
