You repeatedly take on some of the most complex buildings in the world and do these stunning recreations of them.  Absolutely amazing.  &apls

Thanks, Flatron and Whatevermind.

Kelis: Your pictures are being of great help, thanks!

Now, I have a consultation to make. After so many days of seing pictures from all angles, I just realized the towers of the church are not in line, but one is further than the other to fit the diagonal street it is on. My question is... would you rather have the towers in-line or should I make it exactly as it is with one tower further than the other???

In my opinion, it will looks great with the tower not in line.

I agree, leave the towers out of line.

The problem is that this is supposed to be a W2W building, making them out of line would mean it won't be possible to fit in that setting. I could also do both version, one of them overhanging to fit W2W diagonals.  :satisfied:

Glazert

That looks more like a FAR (Fractionally Angled Road) than a 45 degree diagonal. Not that  this makes any real difference to the basic point.

kelis

This church has a different location of the rest of the normal churches,  it is a w2w church and it is not normal for a church with those dimensions so I think the better is make two versions because I think a lot of people would like use the church in a normal location, I mean in a open place to recreate a normal place for a church like this !

I prefer the w2w version because I love the real location of this church between the canal and street  :)

Keep up the amazing work my friend !!

Hi Debussyman, I wanted to request the London Houses of Parliament. I know we already have Big Ben but on it's own, it looks, well, kind of plain. I'd love you to BAT Westminster Abbey and maybe Big Ben too. I actually came from SimPeg 4, but they sent me here.Sorry if this isn't the right place to post it. Here's the link to the original thread:

Hi DebussyMan,

First of all let me thank you for all the great work you are doing here! I'm always looking forward to new amazing projects of yours.

Regarding the towers - I would agree with the opinion of having two versions to satisfy the majority of possible placements.

DebussyMan

@Glazert: True, it isn't at 45 degrees, but I don't think there are any W2W's on other angles  ()sad()

@kelis: Thanks, I'll obviously make a stardard W2W version to fit the current Amsterdam set...

@Hahey: The houses of parliament are already on the make by another BATer. Westminster is in my wish-list, hopefully I'll get to it some day.

@7otago1998: Thanks. I'll try my best to do both versions.

Setting aside the towers issue. Here's a little advance on the texturing:

DebussyMan the towers look great! I hate to think where the community would be at without the great BAT's you and others continue to produce. As usual with your high quality work, a must D/L for me once it's complete!

Hahei

Wow!, those towers look amazing  ()stsfd()! BTW, which BATter is making them?

kelis

Fantastic job carlos ! I can't wait to see the entire building  &apls &apls

Hahei: Yoder was working on it  ;)

Back to El Escorial. Started working on the Basilica. I'm actually considering making a Basilica-only version. I would have to make up the bottom of the side walls as they are not visible on the real one.
