I wonder how many people here have seen this website ... if you haven't, you must:

For those who may not know, Detroit is/was a one industry town; its fortunes rose with the American auto industry and it fell with it too.

If you have an interest in how cities in real life boom and bust, that website tells a great story.

I post on that website's forums, but I don't think I've ever taken the tour front to back.  I don't think I ever will, too long!

And of course I have to remind everyone that the site is called the ruins of Detroit.  That's what it's named and that's what you'll get (you won't see much of the nice areas), so keep that in mind while touring.

For anyone interested in Detroit/Michigan BATs, search the STEX on Simtropolis for "BSP" and you'll find some.   :)
