Fantastic update and a huge congrats for breaking the 1000th post!  Here's to a 1000 more!

I have tried in the past to make a winding road up a hilly mountain like that and ended up destroying the entire city in fustration.   And this is the prime reason why I play the game on relatively flat maps.   I get to keep my blood pressure down and the cost of a new key board in my pocket.
Great work my friend and this is why it's always a pleasure to visit Siilijoki!

Great work on that update, Noah! I like the atmosphere you've created; it's a little bit like what we have here now. I really like snowy scenes in real life and you've made them perfectly in SC4. Which trees are that in picture 34.11 for example? And you replaced Hugo by a snow dog!
Those real life photos a few updates back are also very nice. You must live very north to have such few sun light. Can you see the aurora sometimes where you live? I hope I can ever go north and look for the aurora, because it's so beautiful.

I'll add to this a personal note. Siilijoki was not only the reason I started my MD, or why I started paying more attention to the details in my game, but even why I lept out of the lurking mode in which I spent my first four/five years here on SC4D. I greatly admire this MD for both its content and for the fact that it's a great conversation with the community and a standard bearer for SC4 Devotion. You've raked in impressive droves of supporters who have landed you near the top when it comes to comments per update, and this not just because you update frequently but because you do it well. Whatever the next 1,000 posts will bring us, I'm sure they'll give us as good a time as the first have done!
