BSC Rewards not rewarding

For some reason, the BSC rewards aren't working properly. I get the popup saying they are unlocked but when I click the link I get a red arrow and no option to plop them.  They also aren't showing up in the rewards menu.


So far it's the SG vet clinic and the Goober Co-Op plus one of Barby's rural lots. Other rewards are working. The CSX hawkers stand was fine however.


Any ideas?

Aren't the rewards separate downloads?
If you put BSC Essentials into your plugins and you start growing BSC farm lots you get the reward messages, because the scripts for them are part of the BSC Essentials. I had these when I was testing my own farm fields. But I did not have any other BSC file in my plugins. I could not plop the rewards (sorry, but forgot which they were). So now I guess the reward lots are to be downloaded separately.

I thought that might be it, so I redownloaded the co-op and had the same problem.  Plus, I was running these off the DVD set and they're on there.

You know, I've not tried... whats the code for the cheat box?

For these cheats to work you need Extra Cheats.dll
Put this file in the root of your plugins folder.
Start the game.
Enter ctrl-X, now the cheat box appears
Type: "buildingplop", now you see a loooong long list of all buildings in your game available. In alphabetical order.
Now search for the name of the building you want to plop. Select it and close the menu by clicking the tiny cross.
It's useful to plop a lot you don't want to wait for until it grows spontaneuously. Only for test puposes. I guess you'll screw up the game when you use it during gameplay.

Me too, but I can't think what. I loaded it off the LEX DVD and downloaded a copy of the LEX.     I'll try these when I get the chance.

Yes, yes, they are ploppable with the cheat. I may just use that from here on in.

Welllll, that's funny.

I had the BSC Essentials too, got the reward message and could not plop it. I supposed I had to download something, but did not search further because I was working on something completely different. I'll see if I can plop the rewards that way too... If yes there must be something wrong.

The LEX -> Documentation -> BSC Reward Chain. The SimGoober co-ops have different requirements.

I usually do not have any difficulty with them.

I'd assume that means there is something wrong with the reward script and clearly not the lots.

I've used them in the past so know they HAVE worked. However, for some reason I can't get them to now.  I've met the requirements for them as I get the advisor pop up offering them to me. The one thing I can think of is that there is an issue with the advisor popup triggering before I can plop them. But I can't think why that would be.

Nope. The first thing I did was load a small region with only agriculture lots and the goober Co-Op.  No dice. Same problem, get the pop up, red arrow. Lot doesn't show in rewards menu. And I did remove DAMN out as well.
