Confused on how to get certain Lots..

So some of the CAMelots have some very strange sizes, Im specifically trying to get some different Hi Techs Industries to build and Im at a bit of a loss.  It seems if I zone for the specific lot that I want holding control ( for example the Stage 6 GooberGen Labs (6x6)), nothing builds at all.  The only control-zoned sized lots I can get are 4x4 it would seem.  I checked my CAM counter park and I do have other stage 6 Hi Tech industries, but Im at a total loss as to how to get some of them to grow.  The 15x14 nVidia Corporation sounds freakin awesome, its only stage 5 so I should be able to get it, but I so far have yet to be able to get 1 to grow.  What am I doing wrong?

Any help here?  I almost always build city blocks as 3x3, 3x4, or 4x4, but there are many CAMelots with different sizes, how do I get these to grow?

Make sure you have enough demand for such lot, even if you already have built some same stage lots doesn't means you still have enough demands for more

Most likely demand is lacking indeed. The nVidia lot takes up almost 16x more surface area than the small 4x4 lots, which will be reflected in the number of jobs it holds. You could try a little experiment where you zone for the nVidia lot and then dezone all other IHT lots and see if you can get it to grow. If not, you definitely need more demand.

Agreed with Vortext, but the problem with this method ( dezoning existing IHT ) is that the number of high stage IHT will be 0 in the city and unless you have a good number of IHTs in other cities of the region, the nvidia might not grow anyway, as the simulator need to first reach the correct number of lower stage buildings

Ah yes, you must not dezone all IHT, I meant dezone the other IHT CAM lots only.
