Hey all, just reinstalled SC4 after a 6 year hiatus...I played the SC 5 (or whatever) and was so disappointed I had to reinstall SC4, now I've downloaded a quadrillion files and I can't believe I ever stopped playing this game! It is so good to see what others have done as it provides me with so much inspiration. I hope you like my contribution.

Here is a Japanese suburb I have been building these days: :)

Dantes

Park & bus station is so ugly  ()sad()
I do not like a repeat of many buildings.

What it looks to me:

Draggable FAR in NAM 31 is now enabling me to create more realistic-looking suburbs than I could previously.

Great suburbs there, Neofita, Swordmaster and Patricius. &apls

Neofita, I see you are using the same Japanese house mod as I do. But I could never figure out how to use it diagonally in such an excellent manner. :P

Willy, those curved streets are great beyond description!

io_bg

Willy, where'd you get those street S-curves? I don't seem to have them on any of my menus... I feel stupid &Thk/( ;D

Kitsune

this is a big picture... but it is used to illustrate fused grids (aka neighbourhoods from hell  $%Grinno$%).. which I love. I jam them with 1x1 homes as you can see in the bottom pictures - and can cram over 200K sims in one large tile.. although this one I have a lot of industry, so my secret weapon isnt needed - 2x2 parks with jobs and uber cap relief. It can sometime take hours to zone because I have to zone each tile one at a time to get those 1x1 zones.

Swordmaster

Sounds similar to what I do, though 1x2 evens out the 1x1 lots. I also have wider arterials, mostly. Looks good, though!

Kitsune

See.. I settled on 1x1 because two 1x1 lots tend to hold more sims then 1 2x1 lot... or larger lots.

That reminds me of my suburb! :P

Looking good Kitsune! :D
