How to make single lane transitways

the goal of this topic is to have an overview of all the possible ways the various transit ways can be made into a single item.

I know that Lakeyboy's made a great Multi-Highway Guide (can be found on ST).
But there are also other tricks around one of them is to make a single lane avenue.
This can be done by dragging elavated train over the end and beginning tile of the avenue.

Sorry I do not have pics ready but I will make some. Does anyone else have some tips?

you can also make single way avenue by draggin rail over one side just like for highway, in fact i think it works for any network that does not carry road traffic, except subways.

well im not really sure if this counts, but for those of you who use rural highway i uploaded a mod which replaces the defualt ANT network textures whith a two way, two lane rhw texture. It can be obtained near the top of this page this page, as an attachment to my post.

have some questions:

does it work only with straight sections?

isn't it possible to use one-way road instead of the avenue?

figui: unfortunately it only works for straight sections it would be awesome if it worked for diagonals.....and it is possible to use the OWR instead of the avenue but some ppl prefer to do the avenue trick...
pschraeer: thats pretty clever to use that method too..im curious how the highways are like when the HSR hits the station

the difference between the avenue and the OWR solution resides in the different allowed capacities for each network
