I wasn't sure where to post this, so if the Moderators need to move it, that's cool... :P

I don't want the dirt under the rail system. I downloaded and installed the Swamper-PEG No Rail Dirt mod, but I am still getting this...

Did the latest NAM affect the mod? The download did not come with a ReadMe file, so I just installed it in ...SimCity4/Plugins. Does it need to reside somewhere else?

Not having mod function here, it remains for the time being. I didn't think that texture under the rails were NAM based, but I want to say something Jeronji made, which that No Dirt Mod was done more in consideration to Maxis based texture scheme, however with the last NAM, I can't exactly name what texture instances were changed or not, but that No Dirt Mod does not consider today's standard. There is a chance, and I mean a chance you could try removing the No Rail Dirt mod to the Nam cosmetic mods folder that should of installed with the NAM.

The NAM certainly does not affect the dirt textures. It looks like you have a very old version of the PEG Alternate Railway Mod in your plugins which you should remove. It might actually be contained in the No-Dirt mod you installed. In that case, remove that file. Otherwise, you could try to move the No-Dirt mod to a zzz folder location in your plugins, so that it overwrites the other mod. Though, you lose track of your plugins that way, so I would rather recommend to delete the file.

Any chance you have the SPAM installed? I think I had exactly the same textures when I installed the SPAM onto my game.

Probably better if you created a new folder which loads after the NAM folder so the mod can override any NAM business if needed. Typically I put these kind of cosmetic mods in 'z_folder name'. The 'z_' prefix ensures they load last of all.

Thanks for the replies.

@ j-dub - It looks like you hit the nail on the head with the Jeronij thing. I was using a sidewalk mod of his and when I removed that mod, Swamper's No Dirt mod works fine. Good catch!  Now I have to try a new sidewalk mod to get rid of the ugly Maxis ones.  :P

@ memo - I just started playing again after a long hiatus. I started with a fresh install of the game and I have installed very few mods, so I don't think I have any Alternate Railway mods installed, unless it is part of a PEG pack. I do have some PEG mods installed...CDK3-SP Seaports, PPonds, and the CDK Leveler are the only ones.

@ samerton - I do not have SPAM installed.

@ vortext - If uninstalling Jeronij's sidewalks didn't work, I was going to follow your advice. If I run into the same issue after trying a new sidewalk mod, (I think I am leaning toward sithlrd98's stuff), I will do what you suggested. Thanks for the advice.

Those are actually MTP textures. If you have a lot of PPond stuff in your Plugins folder, you propably have some MTP files as well. That would make sense, because players having these textures under rails with SPAM are likely to have MTP textures to support the mod.
