Will we be seeing that Belgian/European style Diesel engine anytime soon?
Got a little tired of working on trains.

Not sure what the status is on those trains as it is.
Have only finish two for NORO.

Looking forward to seeing the release of Vol. 8; It will be very useful.

Good to hear. Soon, very soon, I hope.

APSMS

I recall those two being rather excellent, if perhaps branded in application; releasing only the engines as they are currently modded would be more than enough for many, I'm sure (as long as they aren't exclusive).

We can always make our own skins when we tire of the ones you've already produced. The model is much harder to come by.

Well I did a little work on the model itself:

This could be an EMD E-unit or F-unit.

So for one week or so, I will open up the bag and let out the cat. I am in good mood. Let say Sunday next week.

Suggests for color livery/scheme is welcome.
Any suggests should be accompany with a picture showing both the front and one side.

Let me start off:

As the the pictures will most likely have a lot of different size lets add width=420 to the image tag:

threestooges

Hmm, opening it up for requests, eh?

The Southern Pacific had a few variations that were visually interesting:

Daylight:

Black Widow:

"Blood Nose":

The blood nose, if I recall, was used primarily for their freight haulers. The Daylight is better know with the SP4449 steam locomotive. I think, of these three, I'd pick the Black Widow scheme for inclusion in this series.

While this train doesn't exactly fit the model this is what my local train engines look like.

Hi Matt.

Not request, but ideas ;)

Have two of those on my possible list.
Maybe the Black Window with another line name on it:

Mark: I could probably find a way around that small problem.

Here is another I have in mind:

Great Northern, Big Sky Blue color scheme

All these name on railroad companies. Going a bit NUTs.

Lets have a look some of the company names with Pacific in them:
Canadian Pacific
Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad
Central Pacific Railroad
Iowa Pacific
Missouri Pacific Railroad
North Pacific Coast Railroad
Northern Pacific Railway
Northwestern Pacific Railroad
Pacific Coast Railway
Pacific Electric
Pacific Harbor Line
Pacific Imperial Railroad
Pacific Sun Railroad
Richmond Pacific Railroad
San Francisco and North Pacific Railroad
Southern Pacific
South Pacific Coast Railroad
Union Pacific
Western Pacific

Yes that was the plan.

Don't you have any idea for color schemes ?

There is one thing I would love people to write as it sometimes is a bit hard to find.
If the engine runned with freight, passenger or both.

While we are at the Santa Fe, maybe a blue version of it:

ideally you could offer replacements and new instances for both freight and passenger. My region is having some steam power transitioning/re-purposing, so in this case additional instances would be handy. Not sure how much work that would involve, though.

how about this for some ideas? (click for full size)

@Vester: Nice but there are some mistakes:
1. The F Units just has 4 axes, not 6. Here you can see it very well: http://www.iaisrailfans.org/photos/MILW-F7A-88C/MILW88C_1988_09_28ish_Fremont_on_CNW_01_Darren_Ferreter.sized.jpg
2. The Nose should be higher so the Front windows should be not as high...Also it looks a little bit angular. May you could use some more curves?

But great wort, I like it...

Why Italian engines aren't all that popular on the forums?
It is possible to give an idea for an engine?

And if you need a good colour scheme, the best one is this: http://www.trenomania.it/TMF2004/news/art27/art27-1.jpg

1: Changing the numbers of axis is easy as it is a smaller part of the texture. Very hard to see the difference in the game
2: Well, I just didn't want to do a lot of modelling. Most of it is reused from the NOHAB / Litra MY twin cabin engine.

At the moment I am working on the two engine from Nohab and EMD.
As it is there are not many that does trains.

You could try you luck with a model similar to that one and do a paint job (replacing the textures).
It was how it started out for me.

Remembering one model from Kenworth, (uploaded by Swamper77)
You find it in the Regional Runner Train Set (v1.0)

You can find more models on the Lists of Train mods, V2.

or you could try you luck with the SBB Class 460 Freight Engine by MandelSoft

Another enigne is done

Here is another suggestion if you are looking for color schemes. Excellent work so far on the other engines.

@speedbumpjoey:  You can find the Super Chief here: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/28552-atsf-super-chief/

jmdude1: Looks like a nice color scheme. Still no trains with green on.

This one is inspired by Union Pacific Heritage, Missouri Pacific:

UP 1982

A bit of a strange name Missouri Pacific !?! Its never got to the Pacific:

Green + heritage, =      hmmm  ????

Lets go from west of the Mississippi River (most of MPs rails being to the west of it) to the north east corner....

Erie Railroad.
