New and need help please :(

Ive always played the Sim City games but just came back to start out on Sim City 4 Deluxe..

I've downloaded NAM and I really like it, no problems there...

I've downloaded CAM but don't know if its running or not, is there a way to test ? Also when I installed it I ticked the census box +5% thing, what does this actually do, ive also seen on videos a census report form in game, how do you access that ? ??

Look at the demand graph, with the CAM the maximum ought to be 24000 instead of vanilla 6000 (iirc). Also, start a small sandbox city and fool around a bit to get a feel for the CAM simulation.

It'll make 5% of the medium wealth population work low wealth jobs, thus creating demand for R$$ much sooner than it normally would. The upside is it allows you to develop a middle class early on. The downside is you'll run into 'no job' zots pretty soon too, if you don't provide some civic services. Medium wealth sims require more than just jobs, something to keep in mind.

Thanks so much for that, seems its working good, also downloaded the census

Im now looking for some texture packs for CAM, for the stages 9-15, is there an individual file you can download with the new designs and "dependencies" whatever these are... ?
