Sku2 update

Hi guys,
need an explanation...i'd like to enjoy the new NAM but seems like i'm missing the required patch...so i downloaded it (i was sure I've updated the game in the past)...run the patch and it said SC4 had been updated...now alle the files like graphic rules etc. are ok (same file size as expected) apart from SC4.exe which hasn't been updated
Can you help me?

The patch couldn't find two of the files it was looking for.  Where did you get your game?

I bought it years ago from a megastore back in Italy...don't know what's wrong with it

It's acting as if it's an illegal copy.  Your best bet is probably to purchase one of the downloadable versions of the game, such as from Steam.

The patch may have seemed to work in the past, but it was actually doing nothing.

It's really weird as i know it's not an illegal copy...i'll have a look for a downloadable version then!

That seems more like you're applying the wrong SKu2 patch, try a different one if you don't know exactly which version of the game you have.

I have SC4 deluxe edition...in italian (so definitely a european version)...don't know what's wrong with it

The order of installation for the various updates is quite strict. iirc the sku patch has to be applied before the BAT update. Did you de-install completely first of all?

I would, yes. Though don't blame me if the game no longer starts at all. .

Also, BACK-UP!!! 

double edit: if it isn't working out, you might be able to get a digital copy via Origin using the serial number on the CD case. More info here
