Love the Casa eclectica!

Are these bats going to work with dark night?

c.p.

Wow, this is some extremely high quality batting. &apls
I like the detailing on the tile roofs, but in my opinion the colors are too contrasty and desaturated (just on the roofs).

romualdillo

FrankU: Thank you!!! Yes, the roof tiles of Casa Quaroni are different. The other houses have arabic tiles, but Casa Quaroni has industrial flat tiles. We call them "French", "Marsellaise" or "Alicantina". I thought that an Art Noveau house needed "modern" roof tiles, to match the building style.  :)

noahclem: Thank you!!! I do not know exactly how dark night mod works. I render the buildings with gmax, and it does not have the option. If the mod affects only the blue shape that covers the building at night, it will perhaps work, but I am not sure.  &mmm

c.p.: Thank you!!! And thank you very much for your advices!!! Well, about the roofs, the colour depends on the clay, the cooking and the age of the building. All the tiles loose colour over time, but if you like, I will add other colour tones to the roofs of the next buildings to come!!!  ;D

And now, not strictly an update but something new. Following c.p.'s advices and examples I have been experimenting with basements, heights and LODs, to make my buildings really slope friendly. This is the first result, I'm quite satisfied with it... I hope you like it!!!!  ::)

Sim.Rico

@Rom! I.love the colors in the tile roofing!!!  Csnt wait to have this bldg in one of my USN regional cities!

danwaxx

Can't wait to download and grow 'em in my cities and regions!

Sim.Rico & danwaxx: Thank you!!!

Man,these houses are little beauties.I love the vivid and classic colors, the sweet details and those roof textures. You can actually see every single roof tile. Also the architecture style looks great.
Say,are these houses also covering entire neighborhoods in theyr country of origin?

11241036: Thank you!!!

deora: Thank you!! And the answer is yes, they still cover entire neighbourhoods in their countries of origin, but I can not say if all are in good conditions. You can see similar buildings in Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba... even in Portugal and Brazil (with some variations).

vortext & Simcoug: Thank you!!! And thanks to c.p. for his master class!!

And now, in game shots of the third eclectic house:

And Casa Neorrománica (Neo Romanesque House) second attempt (spanish inspiration, a building in the city of Huelva, Andalusia)

I hope you like them!!!  ;)

EDIT:

In-game shot of the house, final version...  :)

I hope you like it!!!

Thank you all for your kind words!!!  ;D

A small update:

Casa Arcos corner version first attempt

As usual, I hope you like it!!!  :D

I've been thinking about what I'm going to upload (if I'm able to). I've done 8 different models (4 R$ and  4 R$$). I want to do a corner version of each one and the fillers for the corner lots (that's the same building but with a blind back wall). I don't know if someone will be interested in the lots I made for the buildings, because I pretend to upload the props only...  ()what()  I've also other ideas for the models I've already done, but I want to finish this project first.  :P

deora

Wow,again some great work you are posting here.
The Slope Tolerance amazes aswell. Also love the crisp textures and the color variations.
The Light Courts are great, they give so much more fresh air and light into the house.
Also your last house looks awesome, too.I`m wondering why it has that small tower in the middle?
I would instantly use these houses if they would fit in my current Region Project because i`m in a terrible need of small two story low rises for one or two families... &apls

noahclem

Wow, things just keep getting better and better over here  :o  The buildings are looking awesome and the slope tolerance is fantastic  &apls

Quotenoahclem: Thank you!!! I do not know exactly how dark night mod works. I render the buildings with gmax, and it does not have the option. If the mod affects only the blue shape that covers the building at night, it will perhaps work, but I am not sure.  &mmm

I know very little about batting but my understanding is that if you're using gmax it will work fine for dark night and regular night.

carlfatal

You´ve hooked me with these buildings. Sc4 still is installed on my computer, so...  $%Grinno$%

I love that small tower on the corner lot!

deora: Thank you!! This kind of tower can be used for different purposes: as an observatory, as a pigeon house or as an auxiliary structure to locate the water tanks higher (for water pressure). They are common in some cities of Spain and South America.

noahclem: Thank you!!

carlfatal: Thank you!! Hopefully you won't have to wait very much for the first set of buildings!!  :)

This is the first building I made to fill the corner lots.

I hope you like the colour. I wanted it to be really red, but it's difficult with the unsaturated colours demanded by the game. What do you think??  :-[ If you like the colour the next post will be the in-game shot of the new corner lots I'm working in.
