The amount of detailing you pour into this is just absolutely breath-taking. And it looks fabulous! &apls

Thank you all for the nice comments!!!

Some news about my Prop Pack (again). Simcoug detected several problems with the models in the LotEditor, and I re-rendered them. He also offered his help to improve the pack by adding new families to ease its use, and added a CohortFiles.dat. The new file has been uploaded today.

Thank you very much for your time and work, Simcoug!!!  &apls

EDIT: A little progress here

c.p.

Nice.  I like the way you extended the door for the foundation, and also the curved stairs (that can't be easy :D)

romualdillo

Thanks c.p.!!

Finally in-game shots! Corners and corner-filler:

I hope you like them!! I'm starting with the colour variations, so if you have any suggestion or idea, please post them!

Wonderful! &apls With the street textures and everything (i.e. T21's) they look really realistic...

...but I can't help thinking that if one combined them with some old-style industries, maybe some steam-locomotives (the RRW) and some grungyness they'd be as if tailor-made for a steampunk region... :D

Lovely!  The details really jump out on this one - you can tell the amount of effort that went into capturing all the intricacies.  Bravo!

THAT is a very interesting city concept!!

Fantastic work! I love the nightlighting and the little inner courts and backsides of the buildings.

Cheers

Beautiful work  &apls  I can't wait to see this in my city. I'll echo the comment about your clever design of the stairs in the corner foundation a couple posts back

mattb325

The corner building has turned out beautifully - every detail is stunning

Jmouse

You have done some really fine work on these buildings, and the night shots are especially lovely.

Themistokles: Thank you!! Well, in this case steampunk has been a reference. One of my favourite MDs ever was Endora. Sometimes I turn back to look its magical images. I hope antimonycat comes back some day! However, I'm not a steampunk fanatic. I'd prefer something more relaxed, perhaps something like in "Howl's Moving Castle" of Hayao Miyazaki, or his Sherlock Holmes TV series.

Simcoug: Thank you!!

Schriefer: Thank you!!

seraf: Thank you!!

matias93: Let's see how it develops!  ;)

Swordmaster: Thank you!!

noahclem: Thank you!! It's not that difficult if you have the necessary tools or plug-ins!!

mattb325: Thank you!!

Jmouse: Thank you!!

Perhaps you've noticed I've been less active lately. It's because I've been very busy, and I've not much time to work on my models. But I won't stop working, so don't worry!  :P

This is the last R$ to R$$ conversion, I hope you like it:

First R$$ to R$ conversion, I hope you like it:

New Ford T Models based on C.Scott models:

Security has been improved with...doors!!  :D Some textures look a bit weird in Sketchup, but they'll look correctly in game.

Other security improvement, a spare wheel:

Ford Model T Roadster... Not very safe... (Still unfinished)

More to come!  ;)

And last but not least, I've decided to rework my lots growth system and systematize it (even more). I'll try to mod my lots (I still don't know if it's possible, so if you know anything about it, any advice will be welcomed) to limit height and not density. That's what I've thought for any lot size:

LOW DENSITY:         1-2 floors
MEDIUM DENSITY:    3-4-5 floors
HIGH DENSITY:        6-7-8 floors

I'm still not sure about the 7th and 8th floors as they were not so common, but you can find them in cities like Madrid, Barcelona or Buenos Aires. Perhaps as "special lots"... &Thk/(

The low density growth system would be like this (GS: Growth Stage):

R$ 1x2(3)

R$$ 1x2(3) and R$$$ 1x2(3)

R$ 2x2(3):

R$$ 2x2(3):

R$$$ 2x2(3) and Corner Lots:

Obviously R$ lots will be much denser as the other type of lots. Some living conditions are not proper for R$$ or R$$$ buildings.

Let me know what you think! I'm sorry for the long post!  :)

Why sorry for a long post? I mean, I could sink into these pictures for hours, - nah days...  &apls &apls

I did have a look also at your older posts, and I am simply wowed. This set comes out so beautiful!  :bnn:

And although I have to admit, that I was merely looking at the pictures, I am intrigued by your ideas, how to mod the houses. This may help me with my own stuff.

keep it on!

Excellent update! I like the pics, and yes, having some 6-7-8 stories in buildings would be great too! I honestly can't wait for your next big release!
